TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - The Toledo Zoo stepped up to help save a man who got bit by a cobra.
The 26-year old man was experiencing nausea and could not move his respiratory muscles.
The zoo rushed eight vials of anti-venom to the University of Toledo which was air lifted to Detroit.
The man ended up being treated with vials from Florida but the Toledo zoo's efforts did not go un-noticed.
The condition of the man who was bit by the cobra is still unclear.
