In its heyday, the Col. James M. Schoonmaker carried more 12,600 tons of coal from Toledo to Wisconsin.
Today, it's home to the Museum of the Great Lakes and one of the nine historic landmarks you can discover on your trip around the 419 on the Great Toledo History Trail.
