TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - Gas up the car, treasure hunters -- the annual "World's Longest Yard Sale" is underway now.
From now through Sunday, yard sale aficionados can peruse nearly 700 miles of steals and deals on a route that runs from Addison, Michigan, to Gadsden, Alabama.
The path wends its way locally through Fulton and Williams counties.
Officially named the 127 Yard Sale, this annual event traverses six states: Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama.
The majority of the route follows Highway 127 from Addison, Michigan to Chattanooga, Tennessee. From Lookout Mountain, Georgia, to Gadsden, Alabama, the route switches to Lookout Mountain Parkway. Both routes are described as scenic and easy to drive.
