Glass City zombies? 'Toledo' sign seen during 'Walking Dead' season 9 preview

TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - The Adams Street Zombie Crawl could get a LOT more crowded if a "Walking Dead" season nine trailer is accurate.

A signpost that appears during the trailer shows arrows pointing to HQ, Oceanside, Alexandria, Sanctuary and ... Toledo.

The season nine trailer was released at the San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday.

There isn't much known about what the next season will bring, but the teaser seems to indicate there is a new survivor settlement called Toledo.

In the original graphic novels, the characters do travel through Pennsylvania to get to a settlement in Ohio. A group of survivors known as The Commonwealth in the comics is from Ohio.

It is not specified in the novels, however, if that settlement is Toledo.

One thing that was confirmed before Comic-Con is that season nine will be the last season for main character Rick, played by Andrew Lincoln.

"The Walking Dead" is expected to return to AMC in October.
