"I took my last $47 and started the business, and here I am today," said Shivers.

BOWLING GREEN, OH (WTOL) - A Bowling Green State University graduate is taking his Twitter-run food business to college campus's in Ohio and Michigan.

Two years ago, DeAnte Shivers' life was very different.

Low on cash, Shivers took a leap of faith with his hobby of cooking and went one step further with it and began selling his meals on Twitter.

"I took my last $47 and started the business, and here I am today," said Shivers.

Students from all around Ohio and Michigan started seeing DeAnte's posts and pictures on Twitter wanted to sample his food.

"It would reach everywhere. You know I would have people from different campuses and colleges and everything reaching out to me asking me to come down," he said.

DeAnte now plans to visit The Ohio State University, The University of Michigan and Cincinnati, just to name a few.

He never imagined his business would expand this far.

"It's crazy to see what it's become, especially starting from my apartment. And crazy to see how much my growth has changed since then," Shivers said.

The first stop on his campus tour the University of Toledo.

And who knows where he'll go from there, the sky is the limit for Shivers.
