Almost a thousand Consumer's Energy customers in Blissfield had no electrical service on Sunday afternoon.
The power went out just before 4 p.m.
The Consumer's Energy Outage map offers no explanation for the outage in Blissfield but power was restored later in the evening.
Both traffic signals on US 223 in Blissfield were not working.
Traffic is usually very heavy through Blissfield on Sunday afternoons because of people returning to the Toledo area from lakes in the Irish Hills.
