TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - A new auto parts supplier plans to build in Toledo.
Faurecia North America is planning to open a factory in the old Jeep Parkway plant.
They will supply auto parts to customers like General Motors and Ford.
"It's a recognized automotive area, so we know that the skills are here that we need to build the product for our customers," said Nick Howard with Faurecia Industrial Strategy and Projects.
Faurecia will join Detroit Manufacturing and Dana as one of three auto parts manufacturers in the Overland Park Industrial Complex. The company expects to create about 100 jobs, running two shifts, six days per week
Faurecia plans to open its nearly 73,000 foot facility in April of 2019.
