Findlay Police arrest 4 suspects in armed robbery

Findlay Police have arrested four suspects in an armed robbery that happened at the 800 block of North Main Street on Wednesday. Officers arrived at the scene just after midnight after a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred in the area. FINDLAY, OH (WTOL) - Findlay Police have arrested four suspects in an armed robbery that happened at the 800 block of North Main Street on Wednesday.

Officers arrived at the scene just after midnight after a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred in the area.

According to police, the alleged victim was approached by subjects from a car and one of the subjects had a handgun.

Items were taken from the victim and the suspects last were seen traveling eastbound toward North Main Street in a vehicle.

The vehicle later was located and stopped in the 1200 block of Croy Dr.

The suspects arrested after this robbery have been identified as:

  • Roderick C. Michael Jr., 19, from Columbus
  • Russell G. Ellis, 20, from Tiffin
  • Tyrone L. Taylor, 19, from rural Findlay
  • Kelsey M. Murfield, 18, from Delaware

All four were charged during an initial hearing in Findlay Municipal Court.

They each face one count of aggravated robbery, a first degree felony.

They are all currently incarcerated at the Hancock County Justice Center.
