TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) -

ConnecToledo and the City of Toledo are turning to residents to help develop a new parking strategy for downtown.

The group has partnered with the city, along with Lucas County, Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority and the Downtown Toledo Improvement District to conduct a new study on parking.

Toledo residents are encouraged to participate in a survey that the group hopes to use to predict future parking demand.

The results of this survey, along with data collected on current use of parking lots, garages and meters, will be a factor in shaping how the group looks at balancing and encouraging alternate modes of transportation.
