LUCAS COUNTY, OH (WTOL) - The Lucas County Sheriff's Office is warning the public against a D.A.R.E scam possibly circulating the area.
The sheriff's office received a call from a citizen reporting that a man claiming to be a deputy sheriff came to their door to sell a coupon book.
The citizen said the man said the proceeds were for the D.A.R.E. program.
The Lucas County Sheriff's Office says they do not solicit for money to support the D.A.R.E. program.
