SYCAMORE TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

An Ohio man is accused of having sex with a 13-year-old girl, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.

Hamilton Sheriff Jim Neal reported the victim told officers she met Scott Kravetsky, 24, of Sycamore Township over social media site Omegle and made arrangements to pick her up from Middletown and bring her to his home.

Kravetsky allegedly took the girl to his Sycamore Township home, gave her alcohol, and engaged in sexual contact with her, said Sheriff Neal.

While at Kravetsky's home the victim had a medical emergency, which led to a response by EMS and law enforcement.

The girl disclosed to officers what had occurred and they arrested Kravetsky at the scene.

Kravetsky is facing charges of Sexual Battery and Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a Minor.

Investigators said they believe Kravetsky has participated in this type of behavior before and ask anyone who may know of Kravetsky's activities to call the Hamilton County Sheriff's Criminal Investigation Section at (513) 825-1500 or Crime Stoppers at (513) 352-3040.

“There’s just so many different variables of how kids can access this stuff so it gets a bit tricky,” said Dave Hatter Fox19 Tech Expert.

Hatter said parents should be aware of what websites their kids are using and educate them about online predators.

“Rather than try and block it from your web browser or something like that, if you can get into your router settings you can go in there and basically block any website, it will literally just filter that out and  you won’t be able to get to that site without knowing a password or just block it straight out,” said Hatter.

Hatter said the best policy is to talk to your children about online predators and how to avoid them.
