Woodville Road east of Wheeling is closed due to downed utility poles
Northwood Police say Woodville Road is closed east of Wheeling Road after power lines and utility poles have been yanked down. A semi-trailer carrying some sort of construction equipment drove by, and part of the construction equipment was left up and pulled down numerous power lines and utility poles. OREGON, OH (WTOL) - Northwood Police say Woodville Road is closed east of Wheeling Road after power lines and utility poles have been yanked down.
A semi-trailer carrying some sort of construction equipment drove by, and part of the construction equipment was left up and pulled down numerous power lines and utility poles.
A witness on scene said the driver thought he blew a tire when the power lines were hit.
The road is expected to be closed for a while. Motorists can detour from Wheeling to Curtice to I-280.
