(RNN) - When the "cronut" took the pastry-loving world by storm in 2013, people flocked to New York City and the doughnut/croissant hybrid went for hundreds of dollars on the secondary market.

If that seems extreme, wait ‘til you hear what you have to do to get the new Krispy Kreme doughnut filled with Nutella. Or, as you’ll want to call it: el donut rellena con Nutella.

It looks delicious, an original glazed doughnut chock full of Nutella’s beloved hazelnut spread. But it’s only available in the Dominican Republic.

The chain’s Dominican franchises released it a few days ago, and it has sweetooths around the country planning their vacations to the island nation.

Of course, news of the coveted doughnut's existence caused confusion, and disappointment that it can only be found so far away.

Krispy Kreme has released a Nutella-themed doughnut in the U.S. before. In 2016 it introduced the "Nutty Cocoa Ring" which was dipped in the spread and topped with hazelnut pieces and drizzled chocolate icing.

Krispy Kreme hasn't announced whether there are plans to bring the Nutella-filled doughnut to the U.S. at any point. But if their Twitter mentions are any indication, it's safe to assume the demand is there.
