HARRISON, OH (FOX19) -

Police in Hamilton are looking into potential child abuse involving a 1-year-old after injuries were spotted when the baby was brought into the hospital on Oct. 29.

According to a police report, a hospital worker noticed the injuries on the child when it was brought into the emergency room of Liberty Children's Hospital.

In the report, the 33-year-old hospital worker told police of possible foul play. The report reads, "The listed victim came into the emergency room of Liberty Children's Hospital with injuries that appeared to have been intentionally caused."

The report states the injuries to the child happened sometime between Oct. 18 and Oct. 29.

The allegations are against the mother's boyfriend, but at this time he has not been charged with a crime.

The father of the boyfriend  spoke to FOX19 NOW and confirmed that his son was being investigated and initially said the child had fell, but later backed away from that statement. He also said the child had 10 minor bone fractures. He also said detectives took pictures of the alleged injuries.

The child, according to a source, is now with it's father.
