CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

From Meteorologist Samantha Roberts:

Weather Scenario:

High pressure will move over the Ohio Valley today. Low pressure will pass over the northern Great Lakes Saturday, pulling a cold front into NE Ohio.

Short Term Forecast:

Happy Thanksgiving! Today will be dry, mostly cloudy, and a little breezy. Temperatures will only top out in the lower 40s. Brr!

I do think that as the day goes on, we'll start to see a little clearing. For many of us, it may not be until mid-to-late afternoon.

Skies will really clear out tonight, allowing temperatures to fall into the mid and upper 20s. Late-night Black Friday shoppers, deal seekers, and door busters will need to bundle up!

Warmer For Black Friday:

Despite the cold start to your Black Friday, we'll thaw out nicely tomorrow afternoon. Expect a lot of sunshine and highs in the low to mid 50s.

Weekend Outlook:

We've made a few (good) tweaks to the weekend forecast! We're still expecting a cold front to move through early in the weekend. There's just not a lot of moisture associated with this front, so we're not forecasting a lot of rain.

However, a few light showers are possible early Saturday morning. At this time, it looks like most of the rain will get out of here by Saturday afternoon. I can't rule out a passing shower during the day though.

We've also scaled back on the snow chances for Sunday. If anything, we'll see a few snow showers or flurries on Saturday night and on Sunday. No widespread or impactful snow is expected.

Saturday's high: 53°

Sunday's high: 42°

It will be quite windy all weekend.
