Fresh Strawberries, washed, hulled or unhulled and dried. ½ Cup good-quality balsamic vinegar 1 cup powdered sugar
Place strawberries, balsamic, and powdered sugar in separate bowls. To serve, let each guest dip a strawberry into balsamic vinegar and then into powdered sugar.
1 (20- ounce) package refrigerated cookie dough 1 (8 – ounce) package cream cheese, room temperature 1/3 Cup sugar ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
½ c orange, peach, or Apricot preserves 1 T Water
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.Line an ungreased pan with cookie dough and cut into 1/8 inch slices, overlapping slightly.Bake 12 min or until light brown, remove from oven and cool on a rack.
In a bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, a and vanilla extract.Spread over cookie crust.Arrange fruit over cream chesses layer in any design you would like.
Chilled Strawberry- Mint soup
1 ½ Cups sliced fresh Strawberries ¾ Cup sour cream ¾ Cup heavy cream 2 T orange juice 2 Thoney 1 ½ t finely chopped fresh mint leaves
Fresh strawberry slices, kiwi fruit slices, or fresh mint sprigs
In a food processor or blender, place the strawberries, sour cream, heavy cream, orange juice, and honey; mix until smooth.Stir in mint.Tastes for sweetness, if necessary add more honey.Refrigerate until well chilled.
