CANTON, Ohio (AP) - Authorities say a worker caught in a machine at a meat processing plant in Ohio has died. The Repository reports the Stark County Coroner's Office has identified the worker killed Saturday afternoon at the Fresh Mark plant in Canton as 62-year-old Samuel Martinez. A coroner's investigator says the Canton resident stepped into a chute and got caught in a waste grinder.

CINCINNATI (AP) - A macabre "Zombie Nativity" scene that's become an annual tradition of sorts in a suburban Cincinnati neighborhood won't be displayed next Christmas. Creator Jasen Dixon, a resident of Sycamore Township northeast of Cincinnati, says he will put the nativity scene in storage or sell it off after this year. The Cincinnati Enquirer reports the nativity features hay, a zombie Mary, and a zombie baby Jesus.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - An Ohio choreographer has composed a piece that dancers will perform at the opening of next month's annual World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Edwaard Liang is the artistic director of BalletMet in Columbus and a former dancer with the New York City Ballet and Nederlands Dans Theater in Holland. Liang's piece, tentatively titled "Four Seasons," will be performed by the principal dancers of La Scala opera house in Milan, Italy.

CLEVELAND (AP) - Cleveland State University has received $1 million to create a collaborative, interdisciplinary learning laboratory to foster creative thinking, innovation and entrepreneurship. The gift from industrial property developer Weston Inc. will be used to create the Weston Ideation Lab within the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the university.
