Sauteed Crimini Mushrooms

1 small red onion, diced
1 package crimini mushrooms, sliced
4 sprigs fresh thyme, chopped
1 teaspoon garlic, chopped
1/2 cup red wine
1 cup heavy cream

In a sauce pan, turn heat on high and when pan is hot, add onion, garlic and thyme. As soon as the garlic starts to trun brown, add mushrooms. Saute until mushrooms become soft, about 4 minutes. Add red wine and reduce by half. Add heavy cream and reduce to a gravy consistency. Salt and pepper to taste.
