Woman followed, grabbed by man while walking down Findlay street

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Findlay Police say a woman had to fight off an attacker on Sunday evening after a group of men followed her around town.

It happened at about 5 o'clock on the 700 block of West Trenton Avenue.

Police say the 18-year-old woman was walking alone when a silver 4-door vehicle passed her with three "skinny white males" all in their twenties inside.

She says the men made sexual comments toward her as they drove beside her. She says the car passed her twice more as the men continued to harass her. She says then walked down the 600 block of W Foulke Avenue, when the same vehicle came by.

She says that time, one man jumped out and grabbed her by the wrist, telling her to go with them.

Findlay police say she pulled free and began to yell at the man who grabbed her. Then she says he ran back to the car and they drove off.

The man who grabbed her was wearing a neon yellow hat, a gray t-shirt, and jeans.

The suspects are unknown at this time.

Anyone with information is asked to call Lt. Robert Ring at 419-424-7164.

This case is under investigation.
