PERRYSBURG, OH (Toledo News Now) - About 75 volunteers came out Saturday to help clean debris from the soccer field. A lot was accomplished, but the work is far from over.
Park rangers say there is still a lot of large debris that needs to be taken care of.
“Now there is still a lot of wood left. There is still a lot of large debris, which we'll get more over the course of time – we can pick that up at a later time,” said Ranger Jeff Baney.
He says there will likely be another volunteer day to continue with the progress, but no date has been set yet.
