Investigators in Fulton Co. looking for suspect in GPS theft

FULTON COUNTY, OH (Toledo News Now) - Investigators are looking for a thief who stole a $16,000 GPS system along County Road 16 in Fulton County.

They say it is no ordinary GPS system in that it is used for drilling and directs the drill in the right direction, often used for well work.

The sheriff says the devise was taken out of the victims car in early March. So far, investigators have no leads.

“We've checked with some of our local buy and sell shops, because something like that, that's really unique, you know, if it would come in they would know about it, or if they have seen it, so we just been striking out so far,” said Fulton County Sheriff Roy Miller.

If you have any information on the theft call Fulton County Crime Stopper at 1-800-255-1122.
