WOOD COUNTY, OH (Toledo News Now) - The Wood County Sheriff's Office is investigating a rash of break-ins that occurred just outside of Bowling Green.
Over the last few days there have been about five residential break-ins in Wood County and at this point in the investigation Sheriff Mark Wasylyshyn says they do not appear to be related.
Due to the multiple break-ins around the county Wasylyshyn says he wants to stress the importance of security alarm systems.
He says valuables were taken and two doors were kicked in at a home on Klopfenstein Road, and some hunting bows were taken from another home on Nims Road.
The sheriff says the break-ins did not have many similarities. Now he's asking anyone who may have saw something to call police.
“I really want to remind people to, number one, report suspicious activity. Actually, we are looking up to see if some information of someone that drove by saw someone there,” said Wasylyshyn.
If you have any information call the Wood County Sheriff's Office.
