WANTED: Grand jury indicts Osha Carter for August murder at Chez Joey

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - Osha Carter has been indicted for murder by a Lucas County grand jury in connection to the August shooting death of Marcus Osley. A warrant has been issued for Carter's arrest.

Osley, 28, was killed on Aug. 21, 2014 at a downtown business that was known as Chez Joey at the time.

Police were called to Chez Joey just before 1 a.m. on Aug. 21 for a reported shooting after a fight broke out. Osley was shot in the chest and later died of his injuries. Another man's head was grazed by a bullet.

Carter, 22, was indicted Friday on one count each of murder, felonious assault, and discharging a firearm upon or over a road.

Keevon Johnson, 34, was arrested on August 21 and later charged with murder. Several others were arrested at the time and charged with misconduct in an emergency.
