This stay of unusually warm October weather has a countdown to cool. Highs will stay in the 70s and even reach to just shy of record 80s on Saturday before it all comes to a close. The end of the warmth begins late Sunday evening as showers sweep across the Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. This late weekend system will be just the start to a cooler pattern next week; that will bring our coolest temperatures of the season so far.

PERRYSBURG, OH (Toledo News Now) - Throughout the year, Riddle Services construction company in Perrysburg tries to pay it forward to the community by doing renovations for less than what it normally costs. Now the company has decided to launch '25 days of giving' this holiday season.

It's a challenge for everyone to do more for others. As a part, Riddle Services owner, Steve Riddle says they are randomly surprising people by fixing roofs or landscaping.

“It's kind of like a passion for me. It's exciting because when it's all said and done, even if we go over budget, we're not concerned at all,” said Riddle.

Right now, the company is working on renovating the Barrett's bathroom to make it handicap accessible, with custom tile.

“If we can just stop what we're doing, go help them out, even if it's something bigger, we don't mind because we're in a fortunate situation where we can do that,” said Riddle.

For Perrysburg home-owner Denny Barrett it means a lot more than just a home repair.

“My wife will be able to use the bathroom when necessary and without fear of safety, without fear of injury. So it will be a good thing; a good plus for my wife,” said Barrett.

The renovations on this home should be wrapped up Monday, just in time for the holidays.
