TUCSON, Ariz. – In the Sept. 5 issue of Golfweek, Arizona women's golf will be listed at No. 4 in the preseason poll. The magazine lists five Pac-12 teams in the top five and six in the top 10. Additionally, junior Lindsey Weaver sits at No. 15 in the preseason top-30 players list.

Last season, Arizona finished tied for second at the Pac-12 Championships, seventh at the NCAA Regional Championships and tied for seventh at the NCAA Championships. The Wildcats return their entire line-up for 2014-15, led by seniors Manon Gidali, Kendall Prince and Andrea Vilarasau, and are joined by freshmen Natalia Forero and Krystal Quihuis.

In 2013-14, Weaver earned Arizona's 54th All-America citation and was a first-team All-Pac-12 honoree in her first season with the Wildcats. She earned a runner-up finish at the 2014 Pac-12 Championships, a top-20 finish at the NCAA Championships and was Arizona's top finisher in five tournaments. She posted a stroke average of 72.32 with six top-10 finishes and eight top-20 finishes. Weaver was also named a WGCA All-American Scholar.

The Wildcats open up the 2014 fall season at the Annika Invitational, Sept. 28-30, in Orlando, Fla. Reunion Resort will host the event named for Arizona alum Annika Sorenstam.
