HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

While the Rainbow Warriors wait to start the 2014 season, former Warrior quarterback Shane Austin's year came to a crashing halt on Saturday night.

Austin and the Cleveland Gladiators fell to the Arizona Rattlers, 72-32, in the Arena Football League's 'Arenabowl XXVII."

The ex-UH signal caller racked up touchdowns all season long, but unfortunately, he didn't save his best performance for the end as he went 18-of-41 with four interceptions, including a pick-six in the first half.

It was Austin's first time in the AFL championship game.
