MADEIRA, OH (FOX19) -

The Madeira man who shot at his wife at their home in Madeira earlier this month could get up to 11 years in prison.

Hamilton Prosecutor Joseph Deters announced the indictment of Blake Seylhouwer Wednesday for two counts of felonious assault and one count of domestic violence.

If he is convicted on all charges, he could get up to 11 years in prison.

Seylhouwer pleaded not guilty last week to the charges he faces for allegedly shooting at his wife Misty after an argument on Aug. 12. He has since been released from jail on bond.

In the 911 call, he said he accidentally shot her while taking his rifle out of his truck. When police arrived, they found that Misty had been hit by shrapnel from a hunting rifle bullet.

She sustained injuries to her face, neck, abdomen and leg. She was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center and was released the next day.

According to police, the Seylhower's had an argument earlier that day and Blake returned to get some of his personal items.

When he got there, the argument continued and he fired the gun.

The Seylhouwer's two children were in the home at the time but were not injured.
