CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO/CBS) -

The video from a Cleveland Police body camera obtained by 19 Action News shows what happened as Cleveland and Shaker Heights Police arrested a Cuyahoga County judge.

Earlier this month Judge Lance Mason ended up in jail, charged with attacking his wife and sending her to the hospital. Police also found a huge stash of weapons in the judge's home after they say he threatened suicide.

The video comes from the scene outside the judge's home as he was being led to a patrol car.

On the police video you hear Judge Mason say that he was going to kill himself.

He also asks, "How's my wife? She was on, she jumped out the car."

You also hear an officer ask him where the weapons are.

The judge responds, "I have a safe opened up, so you can get the weapons."

He also mentions there is a gun on the bed.

As Judge Mason gets in a patrol car, you get a good look at his blood-stained shirt. Moments later, officers discuss his wife. They tell Mason that his wife is in the hospital, and that is why there is blood on his shirt.

The case is now going to a grand jury, but it is still not clear if Cuyahoga County Prosecutors will handle the case or bring in someone from the outside to avoid a conflict.

Cleveland Police just recently started having some officers use body cameras as the city decides which ones to buy for all officers.
