 TUCSON, Ariz. – Head coach Niya Butts and the Arizona women’s basketball program announced its 2014-15 non-conference schedule on Wednesday.

The Wildcats, who will debut their best recruiting class in history and play in a newly-renovated McKale Center, will complete a home-and-home series with five opponents they saw last year and see five new opponents.

UA will open its season on Tuesday, Nov. 11 with an exhibition matchup with Concordia-Irvine and open the regular season with Cal State Bakersfield on Monday, Nov. 17.

Arizona will then travel to Lubbock, Texas to take on Texas Tech on Friday, Nov. 21 and turn around to host UC Santa Barbara on Tuesday, Nov. 25.

On Thanksgiving weekend, the Wildcats will play in the FUI Tournament in Miami, Fla. before returning to McKale to welcome Grambling State on Wednesday, Dec. 3.

Arizona will then travel to Winston-Salem, N.C. and play Wake Forest and host Southern and UAB in Tucson before closing the non-conference season with a trip to Stephen F. Austin and a home matchup with University of Tennessee-Martin.
