Neighbors concerned after drive-by shooting in north Toledo

A drive-by shooting left bullet holes in the homes of one Toledo neighborhood.

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - A drive-by shooting left bullet holes in the homes of one Toledo neighborhood.

Two homes were hit on Mulberry near Manhattan in north Toledo Tuesday night. Three people were inside one of the homes when the shots rang out.

Residents told police a white four-door car, possibly an Alero or Altima, drove down Mulberry and a man wearing a blonde wig yelled, "What's up, Blood? What's up, Blood?" before firing at the homes and a group of three men walking nearby.

According to police, the three men nearby ran, and one of them returned fire.

Residents on the street did not want to be identified because they fear they could be targeted, but they say the crime and gang presence in their neighborhood keeps getting worse.

Toledo Police did not say if they are investigating this incident as a gang-related shooting or not.
