CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Commuters and residents will see new parking lanes this week on Central Parkway downtown, in Over the Rhine and in the West End.

The parking lanes have been shifted away from the curb to make way for the new bicycle lanes.

The City will begin installing pylons Monday that will separate the bicycle lanes from the new parking lanes.

Parking signs are already posted in the area identifying where parking is and is not allowed. As crews work to change the lane, drivers should begin parking to the left of the placed pylons.

A new rush hour parking restriction will also be put in place. According to the city, on-street parking will be restricted from 3 to 6 p.m. in the northbound lane of Central Parkway between Liberty and Brighton Place. Parking will also be restricted from 7 to 9 a.m. in the southbound lane there.

Full-time parking will still be available south of Liberty Street.

Contractors will continue to work on the new street design over the next few days.
