MASON, OH (FOX19) -

Hundreds showed up to participate in the 2014 Brian Dulle Memorial Ride Saturday, despite the rainy weather.

Brian Dulle ride media coordinator John Wright said they surpassed last year's motorcycle count with more than 350 motorcycles and about 500 participants.

He also said they expect to exceed last year's contributions.

The proceeds will go to The Brian Dulle Scholarship Fund, Maddie's Hope, and The Shield. Maddie's Hops is a non-profit organization to help in the fight against childhood cancer and The Shield serves the families of officers injured or killed in the line of duty in southwest Ohio.

Sgt. Brian Dulle was killed in the line of duty in Warren County in May of 2011 while deploying stop sticks during a police pursuit.
