Purchasing tickets for the Marathon Classic

The Marathon Classic officially tees off Thursday. If you don't have tickets yet, it's not too late!

SYLVANIA, OH (Toledo News Now) - The Marathon Classic officially tees off Thursday. If you don't have tickets yet, it's not too late!

Daily general admission is $15 through Friday, $20 after that. A weekly pass to the grounds is $50. If you plan to attend all week and want access to the Highland Meadows clubhouse, you can buy a ticket for $100.

Something new this year: A party deck is set up at Hole 14, which can hold about 120 people. Tickets for the party deck are $50, but Friday tickets are already sold out.

Organizers of the tournament say they're hoping to have 70,000 people attend this year, but it's still too early to predict.

"We'll see how it plays out. There's too many things that factor into that," said Jim Derker, director of marketing for the tournament. "Obviously we've got a nice weather forecast coming up here. I think there's just a lot of great other things that I think will attract people to the tournament."

Visit the Marathon Classic website for more ticket information.
