Police say Diona Ellis robbed the bank around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Police say no weapon was shown during the robbery.
Around 7 p.m., police stopped eastbound traffic at Dorr and Byrne to investigate cars. Shortly after 8 p.m., they arrested the Ellis, whose car had broken down near Dorr and Byrne.
Another woman was in the car with Ellis, but police don't believe she knew anything about the robbery. Two children were also in the car, one of them an infant.
There was no weapon found, and all the money was recovered.
Ellis is being held on $100,000 bond and is due back in court on July 16.
