According to police, two men fired shots from an SUV on the 600 block of Fernwood around noon Sunday. One man was shot in the groin.

Another vehicle then began chasing the SUV, which sideswiped several cars during the chase. Police say the SUV broke down and the two suspects inside took off running. One of those suspects later showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound.

Both men shot are still in the hospital. Police have released their names - Dojuan Smith, 20, and Larin Patton, 25 – but did not specify which man was shooting from the SUV. It is also currently not known who may have shot the gunman.

That wasn't the only violence in the Glass City over the weekend. On Saturday, 28-year-old Robert Harris was shot and killed on the 800 block of Vance Street. Police are not saying if these shootings are connected.
