Back to School Supply Drive

(Toledo News Now) -

Partners of Community Track 11 and McDonalds are working together to help youth begin the school year on equal footing with their peers by providing backpacks and school supplies. School supplies can be a big expense, adding financial strain for families who may already be struggling to budget their regular monthly expenses.

Here's how you can help:  Now through July 26th,  give the gift of education by providing basic school supplies, such as a brand-new or gently used backpack, pencils, notebooks, glue, crayons, a ruler, and more. Your gift can last a lifetime, providing a child not only with basic learning tools, but also with the added confidence he or she needs to be successful in school.

Even though the fish had a 3-0 lead in the first round playoff series, the toughest thing to do in hockey is to beat a desperate team on their home ice.  Halfway through a second overtime Kyle Bonis sets up Christian Hillbrich to score the game winning goal.  The Walleye now advances to the second round.
