Intersection of Brint and King to close in Sylvania

SYLVANIA, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Starting on Monday June 16 and for the next 45 days, the intersection of Brint and King in Sylvania will be closed.

Lucas County Engineers will be putting a roundabout at that intersection to improve traffic flow in the area.

People living near the intersection say the closure will create a headache for them.

"Leaving the neighborhood won't be as bad, but coming back we are going to have to come in a different way using Centennial Road and Erie Street, so it is going to be longer commute and a lot more people," said Sylvania resident Matt Heinrichs.

To get around the construction heading westbound, people can take Centennial Road to Sylvania Avenue.

If you are heading eastbound, take McCord Road to Sylvania Avenue.
