Toledo Fire and Rescue's Fallen Heroes’ names added to monument

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - Toledo Fire and Rescue honors its members who have sacrificed their lives in the line of duty every year. This year two more names were added to the monument. We have referred to them as Toledo's Fallen Heroes. Steve Machcinski and Jamie Dickman were remembered Tuesday June 10 for their lives as a dad, husband, uncle, brother and son.

"Jamie Dickman, 31-years of age, close to 6-months of service. Steven Machcinski, 42-years of age, close to 16 years of service. This is a big part of why June 10 means more to us today than it's ever meant to us in other years," said Fire Chief Louis Santiago.
