TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

This weekend is the forty-third annual Historic Old West End Festival.

The festival features historic home tours (Mobile users, copy and paste: http://bit.ly/ShCrTk) and many other activities. For the first time, the event will feature a beer tent at the arboretum this year.

A parade (Mobile: http://bit.ly/ShCpuF) will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday. The festival will also offer an art fair, 5K race, antique car show, food, garage sales and more.

"This is a very diverse community and I think the Old West End really embodies the city of Toledo and what we are all about; just in the historic homes, the neighborhood feel. Everyone is just kind of all together here for the weekend and it just leads right into the rest of the summer festival season," said Old West End Public Relations Co-Chair Josh Urston.

There will be road closures (Mobile: http://bit.ly/ShCgqS) Friday and Saturday.
