Leading Edge with Jerry Anderson - June 8, 2014

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

It took more than 26 years for police and prosecutors to convict someone for the April 1980 murder of Sister Margaret Ann Pahl. Pahl, a nun, was brutally murdered in the sacristy of Mercy Hospital in Toledo.

In May 2006 a jury convicted Father Gerald Robinson of the killing. Robinson was Chaplin of the hospital at the time of the murder. Now, Robinson has been transferred from prison to hospice care in Columbus. Rick Kerger has handled some of Robinson's appeals, and met with the retired priest at the hospice facility this week. Hear Kerger's thoughts on Robinson's ailing health and the legacy of the case.

Later in the show, Jerry speaks with City of Toledo Law Director Adam Loukx ahead of arguments before the Ohio Supreme Court on the legality of red light cameras. Hear Loukx's defense of the program, and get a preview of what opponents may argue next week.
