Cleveland (WOIO) - What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Unless, of course, you're Johnny Manziel. The Browns' rookie QB stole the spotlight during the holiday weekend, taking his talents to Las Vegas and living up to the celebrity hype to which he's well-accustomed. Manziel posted pictures poolside with Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, was caught on video spraying club-goers with champagne, and teamed up with UFC president Dana White for a Twitter photo-op.
For those who question whether a rookie quarterback should be partying in Vegas rather than holed up with his new playbook, Johnny fired back, posting an Instagram photo of his Browns' playbook with the caption "guess it's impossible to enjoy the weekend and study?"
Back home in Cleveland, Browns head coach Mike Pettine says Manziel has been unassuming and has shown humility.
"He's quiet, actually. He's a good guy to be around. I think the guys in the locker room will be able to tell you that he's a fun guy. But you can tell, when it's time to work, he works, and he's very serious about this. You can tell he's very competitive".
Manziel returned to the practice field in Berea with his teammates for OTA's on Tuesday.
