2014 NFL fourth round draft picks come to a close

In the last few days, the Browns have added several new players to their roster in hopes that the additions will mean a new chapter for the team.

On Saturday, May 10, Pierre Desir of Linwood University was selected in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft.

This comes after Friday night's second and third round picks of Joel Bitonio and Christian Kirksey.  The night ended with the Browns trading up for Terrance West, for the 94th overall pick.

Browns fans showed their approval with the first round ending with the selection of Oklahoma State Justin Gilbert at #8 and Texas A&M quarterback Johnny "Cleveland" Manziel #22.

The city seemed to roar with excitement after the announcement of Manziel joining the team and Johnny Cleveland merchandise started flying off shelves.

The city's gleeful atmosphere was soon tainted by the news that star wide receiver Josh Gordon is set to face disciplinary actions, possibly resulting in having to leave the league for at least one year following a second failed drug test.

It has been an emotional week for Browns fans who say that they believe in the team and hope for the winning streak that they've so longed for.
