OREGON, OH (Toledo News Now) - The main screen at an Oregon drive-in theater is up and running again following a devastating blow.

The concrete and pipes have been laid down and the big screen is up at the Sundance Kid Drive-In Theater in Oregon. They are going to be showing a movie on the screen for the first time since a tornado ripped it apart last November.

That tornado destroyed the main movie screen. A company that specializes in fixing up drive-in movie theater screens started work on it this on Monday May 5 and finished the job on Wednesday.

"It's been a rough winter ever since the day it had happened until today. We're real pleased that we're back in business so to speak," said Jim Walter, President, Great Eastern Theaters.

Friday May 9 is when moviegoers will be able to enjoy the main screen at the Sundance Kid Drive-In for the first time in nearly six months. The two movies scheduled are Non-Stop and Neighbors.
