Trooper fired over porn charges

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

An Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper has been fired after he was accused of showing pornography to a young boy.

Trooper Ricky Vitte Jr. was fired on April 21 for conduct unbecoming of an officer. The patrol says that conduct is related to Vitte's indictment on disseminating matter harmful to a juvenile charges.

The Fremont News Messenger reports Vitte is accused of showing pornography to a 12-year-old boy at his home in February of 2009.
