NORTHSIDE, OH (FOX19) -

Two men are in police custody after warrants were served at two Northside businesses.

Authorities were called to the 4200 block of Hamilton Avenue on Thursday afternoon. Mark Stubblefield and Benny Stallworth were taken into police custody at Hair Options II and Candy and More.

Police say they served the warrants following a several month drug investigation. Officers say they purchased heroin, marijuana and firearms from individuals at the store locations. They said the activity is suspected to be gang-related.

Stubblefield, 51, of Westwood was arrested and is facing several charges including Permitting Drug Abuse. He is reportedly a co-owner of the barbershop Hair Options II.

32-year-old Stallworth was arrested for selling pot inside the barbershop. His drug offenses are heightened because the shop is located less than 1000 feet from an elementary school.

Both men are expected in court on Friday morning and police say several other suspects are wanted.
