This stay of unusually warm October weather has a countdown to cool. Highs will stay in the 70s and even reach to just shy of record 80s on Saturday before it all comes to a close. The end of the warmth begins late Sunday evening as showers sweep across the Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. This late weekend system will be just the start to a cooler pattern next week; that will bring our coolest temperatures of the season so far.

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

On Tuesday we told you about an area near I-75 that had become a dumping ground for full of tires and trash.

Just hours after our story, the mess is now gone.

Those who live in the area are glad to see the mess cleaned up, but have a message for those who left the tires and trash.

"We are looking out, we are watching as a block watch, we are sticking together and eventually you're going to get caught and we are going to turn you in," said Willy's Park Blockwatch leader Tina Scott.

Scott says this is the sixth time tires have been found in the area. City crews picking up the mess this morning say it's an ongoing problem.

"Well I believe in the recent few weeks, at least in the last month anyways, it's been over a 100 maybe 200 tires. Last year when I was assisting in this area there were about 100 tires," said Toledo Buildings and Grounds Maintenance worker Richard Kenyon.

Kenyon says he gathered around 60 tires on Wednesday.

The blockwatch is considering installing cameras to prevent future dumping.

"We are just hoping everything that we are doing now does detour them, and if we do have to put the cameras up we will," said Scott.
