Neighbors upset by trash pile-up at edge of Willys Park

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

The edge of Willys Parkseems to have turned into a dumping ground for some people.

Tires, trash and bottlesall line Pioneer Lane, and area residents seem to be fed up with it.

"It makes it lookterrible," said one resident.  "It's ahealth hazard."

People say they've calledthe City, and Toledo's Beautification Action Team always comes out to clean itup.

Neighbors say it's so bad,though, the city can't keep up.

That's why they're urgingeach other to keep an eye out and watch for the person or people responsiblefor causing the mess.

"It's bad forchildren.  It's bad for the environment,"said one resident.  "You have the parkright here.  It's not good, and they needto stop."
