Police: 3 teens arrested for Liberty Twp. chemical bombs

LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

Butler County sheriffs have arrested three teens who are allegedly responsible for placing numerous chemical reaction devices around the Liberty Township area.

Officers say that the devices were placed in various locations around Aspen Valley in Liberty Township. Authorities say that the devices exploded causing minor property damage. No one was injured.

Three teens were arrested and charged with arson. All three juveniles are residents in Liberty Township and live near where the devices were planted.

Officers attribute several anonymous tips from citizens for the arrests. The Butler County Sheriff's Office said that anyone caught manufacturing or possessing these types of devices will be charged and prosecuted to the fullest, regardless of their intent
