Man killed in overnight shooting in Green Twp.

GREEN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

Officers are investigating a shooting early Wednesday morning in Green Township that left a man dead.

It was reported around 2 a.m. in the 2100 block of Woodmere Court near the intersection of Faywood Drive. Authorities were dispatched to a report of multiple shots fired in the area.

Upon arrival, emergency crews found Stanley Powell, 44, with several gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said Powell's body was found on the front porch of his girlfriend's home.

Police began questioning neighbors Wednesday morning to piece together what happened and locate a possible suspect. Hamilton County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Michael Robison said neighbors should need feel they are in danger.
