You don't have to fly overseas to enjoy authentic German food.
Katharina's Café recently opened its doors in Newport, Kentucky. After immigrating to the Tri-State from German, owner Elenda Williams and her mother, Christine Hambuch, opened the café on 529 Overton Street.

lettuce, tomato, slice of cucumber, and your choice of
salami, ham or cheese, available for grab-and-go in the morning)
Breakfast served with Brötchen (German hard roll), slice of Katharina's Brot
(wheat/rye bread baked fresh in the store), croissants, various salami and specialty hams,
sliced cheeses, jam and honey, butter, and a boiled egg.
Kartoffelsuppe (potato soup), tomato soup and seasonal recipes.
Guests can also enjoy traditional German desserts and a full espresso bar.
